Travel to Green Island in the morning returning at approximately 1 pm then be picked up at around 2 pm to have a little fun whitewater rafting on the Barron River.
Green Island – AM
Surrounded by white sandy beaches and beautiful coral gardens, Green Island is an idyllic coral cay located only 15 nautical miles offshore from Cairns.
Green Island is ideal for swimmers and non-swimmers, snorkel or take the glass bottom boat ride or do both.

Prepare for your rafting trip:
- Bring your ticket and POB levy (payment cash or credit card)
- Wear a swimming costume under your clothes
- A large towel
- Money for souvenirs and snacks
- Leave all jewellery and valuables at your accommodation.
- A change of clothes
- Water-resistant sunscreen $5 for shoe hire OR bring Secure Footwear – lace-up shoes or reef sandals that will get wet (we realise that you are on holiday and might not want your shoes wet).

White water rafting picks up from your accommodation house, so please let us know where you are staying when booking.
Self-drivers can check in at 100 Lake Placid Road, Lake Placid, Caravonica at 2 pm.

Every participant must sign a Liability Release Form before commencing rafting and some packages.
Passengers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf.
