A bit about the Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail:
The Kuranda Scenic Train winds through the Kuranda Range for 37km. Your 90-minute journey will take you past steep ravines and cascading waterfalls within Barron Gorge National Park.
Sit back and relax while you take in the views. Meanwhile, audio commentary will explain the unique history of the Tropical North.
The Skyrail:
Not only beautiful but sustainable too! Skyrail is an excellent example of ecotourism.
Specifically engineered for breathtaking views, there’s no better way to see the rainforest! As the Skyrail takes you high above the canopy, your view of the rainforest will be completely unrestricted.
Stop off at not one but two different stations to explore the rainforest further:
Red Peak Station provides a beautiful walk along a boardwalk through the trees. Barron Falls Station provides a spectacular view of the famous Barron River Waterfalls.

Kuranda
Your tour starts with a pickup from right outside your hotel.
Then, it’s off to to the train station first.
After the train, you arrive in the rainforest village of Kuranda.
Here you’ll have free time to explore the region further.
Visit the historic markets or Koala Gardens, all at your own pace.
Finally, your journey on the breathtaking Skyrail begins.
At the base of the Skyrail, meet up with your air-conditioned coach, which will take you back to your hotel.
